Dexter Pittman is a Founding Mentor of the Austin Select Basketball Club.
Dexter Pittman is a professional basketball player that previously played in the NBA for the Miami Heat, Memphis Grizzlies, and Atlanta Hawks. He played for various teams overseas during his 14-year professional basketball career. He played college basketball for the University of Texas. In 2012, Pittman won an NBA championship with the Miami Heat.
Pittman is well known as one of the most dominant Centers in history to play for the Texas Longhorns. Pittman is passionate about youth sports and is excited to serve as a Founding Mentor to our players.
Darnell Williams is a Founding Mentor of the Austin Select Basketball Club.
Williams graduated from the University of Hawaii Hilo where he received a bachelor’s degree in communications. He played basketball for the University of Hawaii Hilo and achieved Second-Team All-Conference honors.
Williams has been actively involved in providing activities and opportunities for young athletes in inner-city communities over the last decade. He is recognized for his exceptional ability to build and lead teams, train high-performance athletes, and giving back to the community.
